Kentish town NW10
This was a good challenge since most of our group members had not been to Kentish town before. We visited the area as a group several times in search of buildings, open spaces, and historical points of interest with in the town.
We then come up with an interesting way to deliver our findings for another group which will be hunting in our town allowing them to explore the town through our eyes.
We come up with the most efficient method we thought to fulfil the brief which was by giving the hunters clues of how to move around the town, that would easy and cleaver without giving it way easily, but also not too hard that they would be dwelling too much on it; for instance clue, “take a royal walk” this was a clue for Princess of Wales road.
The clues would lead them to a location, which upon reaching it they would perform a task and take photos of this process though out and supplying them as evidence.
After doing the relevant research we had to make a route that would circulate and flow around the town through the relevant areas with ease. Some of the problems that were encountered were, the fact that we found a lot of interesting things that we could involve in the route, this meant that we had to narrowing it down to the most relevant and of interest points in the town that relate to our practises.
The fact that the game had to be played in the afternoon meant that we had to consider different routes that we felt offered the hunters a good chance to visit all point of relevance before it was dark.
As a group we worked well in finding and collecting relevant research and information from secondary and primary sources. I think we could have been more efficient in this process allowing us more time to visit the town more and exploit some areas to their maximum potential.
If we could have to redo this brief, we could have tried to make it a bit more enjoyable and be more adventures with the tasks that we handed the hunters.
Overall we worked together well without a lot of disputes or disagreements and tried to create an enjoyable but challenge full brief that allowed the hunters to investigate Kentish town with a unique approach.
